Always properly secure the driver's floor mat using the retaining hooks. Never install another floor mat on top of the existing driver's floor mat. Never install the driver's floor mat upside down.] ENGINE OIL- REPLACE OIL FILTER- REPLACE FLUID LEVELS – INSPECT – [Inspect and adjust all fluid levels.] COOLANT- REPLACE TIRES – ROTATE – [Check tire tread depth and for uneven or excessive wear.]
    • Replace Front Brake Pads and Rotors inspect, clean and lube hardware and caliper slide pins as needed. Check and fill brake fluid. Road test vehicle.

    • CEL is on pulled code P0301 cylinder #1 misfire detected Do not find vehicle to be misfiring at this time. Visually inspected coils and plugs. Finding ignition coil connectors to be brittle and crumbling apart. See no visible failure with coils. Vehicle has wrong type of spark plug. Resistor type installed, iridium is factory recommended. Swapped ignition coil #1 with #3 and spark plug #1 with #2 cleared code and test drove. CEL has not returned and still do not find vehicle to be misfiring. Suspect vehicle may have an intermittent failure. Recommend customer drive and monitor, return if CEL returns. Recommend replace spark plugs with OE Recommend and replace ignition coil connectors. Customer picked up vehicle and drove with coils and plugs relocated. Customer Customer state's CEL had come on and then went back off. Later came back on. Customer has returned at 248451 miles with the CEL on. Fuel gauge is n empty (unable to drive vehicle do to low fuel). Checked code stored is P0301 indicating intermittent misfire did not move when coils or plugs were moved. Symptoms will be difficult to diagnose do to the intermittent nature. Do not find vehicle to be misfiring at this time. Recommend relocate fuel injectors for diagnosis purposes and Customer drive and monitor, return if CEL returns. Swapped #1 injector with cyl #3 cleared code, recommend customer drive and return if CEL returns. Customer has returned with the CEL on and code P0303 cylinder number 3 misfire. finding misfire moved with the injector. Recommend replace #3 injector. Replaced #3 injector, coil connectors and spark plugs. test drove no code have returned at this time.
