- Engine will start and run. CEL and oil light are on, engine runs very rough and has internal knocking noise Pulled codes P0121 throttle position sensor 1 performance P0300 random multiple misfire detected P0326 knock sensor performance Found oil level is below dipstick added 3 qrts, the oil light is no longer on. The engine still runs rough and has internal knock. Vehicle now has large amount of smoke from the engine and exhaust Found cylinder #1 is misfiring. Inspected and found most of #1 piston is missing Recommend replace the engine assembly.
